I am a small town, wife of a tree farmer and momma of two who took a leap of faith leaving a sixteen-year career behind to pursue the slow and simple life I’ve always dreamed of, cherish motherhood and make a forever home.

My husband, Ross, and I have been married for 16 years. In 2009, we purchased a foreclosed colonial home, located in a small town in northeast Pennsylvania. While we pursue our dreams of owning a small farm with the cutest little farmhouse, we are taking each and every opportunity to learn right where we’re at, on our one-acre homestead. And now, I’m passionate about sharing our journey, right here, at The Homestead Diaries.

When I’m not in the kitchen baking and cooking for my family, you’ll find me sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair, picking flowers, shopping for antiques, crafting or shuffling our kids to their activities with my husband.
